Egg Biryani

Egg Biryani is one of the easiest biryani which can be made quickly n easily…


Ghee /Oil 3 tspns

Rice 2 cups

Whole garam masala(

  • 1 black cardamom
  • ¾ tsp cloves
  • cinnamon (2 X 1” pieces)
  • ¾ tsp crushed bay leaves

and u can add what ever masala ingredients u have based on the spiciness u eat)

Broken cashews 20

curd 1 cup

chopped coriander 1 cup

eggs 4  boiled and peeled the skin off

green peas 1/2 cup

1 potato  peeled and sliced to  medium sized cubes.

1 large onion chopped  vertically into long slices.

green chillies 4 cut into long slices.

shredded carrot 1/2 cup

Biryani masala powder 1 spoon

Ginger garlic paste 1 tspn


  1. Heat frying pan with oil / ghee
  2. When the oil is hot enough add whole garam masala ingredients and sauté for 15 seconds and add broken cashews and sauté till they turn little brown in color..Then add chopped onion and green the lid and let it sauté for 2 minutes till the onions turn to light soft and brown in color.Now add chopped vegetables and sauté for 2 minutes. Then add 1 cup curd and mix it well and add 1 tspn biryani  masala powder and let it cook for 1 minute…Now add the soaked rice with out water ..mix it well..and let it sauté for 2 minutes..Now transfer all the ingredients to rice cooker /any cooking vessel and add water in the ratio of 1: 1 1/2)for one cup of rice add 1 and half cup of water)..add salt to taste..spead the chooped coriander leaves on the top of rice and water ..let it cook till the rice is done.
  3. EGGS: Take a bowl and add a pinch of red chilli powder, pinch of black pepper powder, pinch of salt,pinch of turmeric,pinch of garam masala powder ..mix it well by adding 1 tspn of this mixture beat one egg  very the beaten egg mixture roll the boiled eggs and fry them in the frying pan by adding 2 tspns of oil….when the eggs done..remove it and add to cooked rice while serving…
  4. Have this egg biryani with raita and some gravy curry.I made egg biryani with raita and liver made  good combination.
