Pesara vodiyala kura



i got this recipe from my mother-in-law..this is a very simple and tasty goes well with rice or rotis..this can be prepared in just 10 minutes.


pesara vodiyalu 1cup

Onion 1 finely chopped

green chillies 3 chopped finely

Milk 1 cup

Oil 3 tspns

turmeric powder

salt to taste

Heat oil in the skillet ..when the oil is hot enough reduce the flame to sim and fry the vodiyalu till they turn brown in color.remove them to a plate..

In the same skillet with the same oil add chopped onions and green chillies…sauté for a minute and add fried vodiyalu, half cup of water,turmeric powder,salt and let them cook for 5 minutes till the onions are cooked to soft.

Now add a cup of milk and cook in low flame for  3 to 4 minutes and off the stove.

Note:-Here red chilli powder is not added to retain the color of creamish yellow…if we add rd chilli it will turn red in color…of course its up to u

Tip:- Before adding milk..add a pinch of cooking soda in milk..stir it well and add it to that the milk wont loose its consistency( palu viragakunda untayi)
