cauliflower,cabbage pottu tho egg podumu/cauliflower ,cabbage curry with egg

cooking time 20 minutes || serves 4 persons
This curry tasted awesome..it goes well with rotis as well as rice ..i got the recipe from sanjeev kapoor’s khana khajana..thanks sanjeev ji...
ingredients:-
1/4th cauliflower grated
1/4th cabbage grated
grated coconut fresh 4 tspns
Eggs 3
Onion small size onion 1 , chopped well
green chillies 3 ,chopped
curry leaves
garam masala powder 1/2 tspn(optional)
Talimpu/Tadka/Seasoning:-
Oil 2 tspns
chana dal 2 tspns
urad dal 1 tspn
mustard seeds 1/2 tspn
cumin seeds 1/2 tspn
Red chillies 2
Preparation :-
- Heat oil in pan ..when the oil is hot enough add tadka/seasoning ingredients and saute till mustard seeds splutters.
- Add chopped Onion, green chillies n curry leaves..sauté it for a minute
- Now add grated cauliflower n cabbage..sauté it well for 1 minute..now add salt,turmeric powder,redchilli powder as required..stir it well n cover with lid ..let it cook 10 minutes..
- stir occasionally to avoid the sticking of the curry to the base.
- Now add grated coconut n sauté it for 30 seconds..now scramble 3 eggs n add to the curry..mix it well..cover with lid for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle garam masala powder n sauté it for 2 minutes n off the flame.
Note:-
Coconut is added in last before adding eggs, because coconut if fried more..it oozes oil n smell coconut oil smell..
To avoid the coconut smell or any other…sprinkle some garam masala.
