Chicken liver curry /karjam kura



This chicken liver curry is a quick and tasty curry…i usually prefer to buy Foster farm chicken livers ..coz i feel they r  fresh n tasty…

It is a very quick curry that can be made in just 10 to 15 minutes…and 1 liver box can  be serve to 3 people and even cost of this liver box is also not high..its jus 1$ or so.


1 liver box

1 tomato

1 onion

2green chillies

ginger garlic paste

turmeric powder

red chilli powder

salt to taste

cumin seeds 1/2 tspn

mustard seeds 1/2tspn

whole Garam masala

cinnamon stick 1

cloves 3

Oil 2 tspns

(and u can add wt ever masala ingredients u like to add)


  1. cut the livers to medium sized pieces if they r too big.chop the onions ,green chillies and tomato.
  2. Heat  oil In a cooking skillet..when the oil is hot enough..add the masala ingredients and sauté for a minute in low add cumin and mustard seeds..when the mustard seeds starts popping..add chopped onions and green chillies..sauté for 2 to3 minutes till the onions become soft..add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute…now add the chopped tomato and let it cook till the tomato becomes takes for 3 to 4 minutes..
  3. Now add turmeric powder,redchilli powder and salt to the curry..stir well and  add chicken livers to the curry..if there is no enough moisture in the curry u can add half cup of water and let it cook for 10 minutes by keeping the lid….That's it..curry is done…u can sprinkle garam masala powder if u wish…
