Dosa
Ingredients:-
- urad dal 1 cup (minapappu)
- rice 2cups (biyyam)
- 1 tsp fenugreek (menthulu)
- chana dal 1/4th cup ( pachi senaga pappu)
/* chana dal is optional..just to get nice color we use chana dal */
Procedure:-
- Soak all the ingredients either separately or altogether for over night .
- After soaking or at least 6 hours ..grind them to paste… If u use wet grinder or grinding other than a mixie the batter will be too good.
- The batter need not to be tooo soft..little crispy should be there to get nice crispy dosa…the consistency should be pouring consistency.
- Right before preparing dosa add enough salt to batter , mix it well n pour a spoon full of batter on the hot tawa n spread it round..apply oil to the edges of the dosa n also few drops in the middle..let it heat it to nice color n remove it.
