Spicy and healthy cookies / kara biscuits / Goduma biscuits

This spicy cookies are healthy and tasty than the deep fried biscuits ..these are healthy because of few reasons..

one thing is this are made from wheat flour / goduma pindi /atta but not only from maida /allpurpose flour.

The other important thing is this biscuits are baked in oven instead of deep frying in oil.

Ingredients:-

Goduma pindi / atta/ wheat flour 1 cup

All pupose flour /maida 1 cup

ginger 1 inch peice

green chillies 3 to 4 based on their spiciness

ajwain seeds /vamu 1 tspn

salt as required

Baking powder a pinch

pepper powder a pinch (optional)

Preparation:-

In a bowl take 1 cup of maida and a1 cup of all purpose flour.

Make the paste of grenn chillies and ginger by adding water..now filter the filter from the paste and add it to the flour bowl

Add baking powder, salt ajwain seeds / vamu , pepper powder to the flour bowl ,mix it well and make it into a soft dough..add little water if moisture is not sufficient to kneed the dough.

Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Now apply 1 tspn oil to the surface where u need to spread the dough and roll it into thin chapati.

Roll the dough with a rolling pin to thing chapati.

Cut the chapati into different shapes as u wish with any bottle cap or cookie cutters.

In the baking pan apply oil to the base and place these cookies in these pan.

Now preheat the oven 350 degree centigrade and bake them for 10 minutes..

That's it now u can have spicy , healthy n puffy biscuits.
